Or were we just all part of a grand, cosmic prank?

Worst Day Ever

It all started with a case of uncontrollable hair. I couldn't do it to look right. As I was dashing out the door, I trippedon and with a thud all over the carpet. To make matters worse, I was extremely behind schedule for work.

I panting. My {boss|mentor|was absolutely furious. I managed to explain, but it was pointless.

The rest of the day was just as bad. Everything. I get anything done.

By the time I got home, I was physically and emotionally wiped out. This day, this terrible day will be forever remembered as the worst day ever.

It all started out badly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then website things went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to throw your hands up.
